THE KSS PROJECT

Group 11 is currently in the process of applying for two 100 % royalty-free exploration licenses in Hessen, Germany. The total tenure covers an area of approx. 390 km2 and includes a historic resource drilled out in the 1980s of 8 Mt @ 2.1 % copper and 25 g/t silver. Active underground mining is occurring in the state of Hessen by K+S and the local population is supportive of the industry for historical and economic reasons (Hersfelder Zeitung).

A comprehensive review of historic geological, geophysical and geochemical data acquired from publicly available, but never collated sources, has provided a 3D model of the sub-surface of central Germany. Group 11’s database and treatment of that database is globally unique.

Mining of the Kupferschiefer dates back to the 15th century, when outcropping showings were exploited for their copper content. The Kupferschiefer is one of the most prolific sources of copper in the world with resources in excess of 35 Mt in Poland and an annual production of > 550,000 t of copper and > 45 Moz of silver.

Regional geophysical surveys delineate large areas with significant prospectivity for further Kupferschiefer-style copper-silver mineralisation in the vicinity of the known 8 Mt resource.
